CBS is airing the Super Bowl this year and they’re making it a family affair—a Paramount family affair—with CBS, Paramount+, Nickelodeon, Drew Barrymore (of CBS’ Drew Barrymore Show & Pluto TV spokesperson), and Comedy Central all supporting the Super Bowl theme.

Why I like these spots

As you’ve seen in my earlier posts, Paramount+ has used their mountain logo as a simple and effective brand icon. Having the linear channels support it with their “Journey to the Peak” is a smart way to continue to expand the brand. And Comedy Central’s Super Bowl holiday wrap-arounds keep the Super Bowl theme going. Overall, smart portfolio branding and vertical integration.
